On Thursday June 17th, 2004 Alec graduated from Elementary School to Middle School (grade 5 to grade 6 for you Canadians). The graduation ceremony involved some boring, I mean inspiring speeches by the principal, some well written essays by some of his classmates, the handing out of certificates and finally a clap out when then grade 5’s left the school for the final time. All in all it was a pretty big deal for a grade 5 graduation and we are proud of him for all the things that he did at Thomas P. Hughes and hope that he enjoys and does well at middle school.
