Steve’s Bike Blog

This was my first regular road ride. I used to do it on my mountain bike at least once or twice a week and it was a decent work out as it is quite hilly. The Watchung Reservation is quite a nice park near my house and the ride is very scenic. It’s a shame that mountain bikes are banned on the trails in the park. Appearently there was a big blowout in the late 90’s between the mountain bikers and the people that ride horses in the park. Apparently the horse people have much more power.

I still do this ride fairly often or combine it with a tour of the area.
